Familial tumor syndromes are genetic disorders in which inherited genetic mutations in one or more genes predispose the affected individuals to the development of certain cancers, 

Examples of familial tumor syndromes include:

  • Tuberous sclerosis
  • Von Hippel-Lindau disease 
  • Neurofibromatosis
